Looking ForwardPosted by brooke in Untagged |
Silent-But-Deadly Productions had their first premiere of their first four films on September 24th, 2009 in Minneapolis! We had a great turn out and we're thrilled to be looking towards the future as we start pushing the sales of our DVD, submitting our four films to festivals, receiving donations and working in preproduction on our next two feature length films! This is what we've been doing for the months of October and November, putting our ducks in a row so the future can be even stronger and better for all involved! We're not just making films, we're wanting to create memorable experiences for those we work with on these films.
Our next feature is "Sky is Falling", to be directed by Rachel Grubb in the Summer/Fall of 2010. The feature after that is "Remembering '63", to be directed by Brooke Lemke in the Summer/Fall of 2011. We are currently trying to raise the funds as well as doing the beginning work of prepro on both films. Rachel is going through her script to decide what will be needed as we start breaking down the budget in details. For "Remembering '63", we are doing a ton of research on the 60s to make the film as true to the era as possible. We're also finding people to read the screenplay for feedback before we start breaking down the script.
The beginning stages of the filmmaking process are the most exciting in the terms that you have a new idea and that you're ready to make it happen. It's also the longest stage of the filmmaking process in my opinion, because everything we do now will affect the production and the post-production stages so we like to make sure everything is in its place before charging ahead!
This is our official blog on the company and our projects, so keep checking back here to stay up to date on what we're doing! We appreciate you interest and your support, as always!
