Silent-But-Deadly Productions is an all female production company based in Los Angeles. We are dedicated to strengthening women in film and television. We strive to provide jobs for women in crew and production positions on projects with strong stories portraying strong female characters. To date we have produced five movies (all award winning) and a webseries with three more projects in development. We love collaborating with the male perspective! In fact, our next movie, SKY IS FALLING, was written by a man and it portrays an extremely strong female lead. We believe providing more opportunities for women, while working with men, creates stronger finished products and more rewarding work experiences! So, please don't hesitate to reach out!
11.9.10: We have finished the prelim storyboards, shotlist and schedule for SKY IS FALLING. We are now tightening up the budget! In other news, HALF DEMON DOLL's pitch has been completed and we are waiting for the tweaks on the sizzle reel so we may begin shopping it around.
10.30.10: We have further workshopped the SKY IS FALLING script and received wonderful feedback. We have added 30 pages to get us to theatrical length. Rachel is redoing storyboards and shot lists for this new version and we'll be meeting with our Director of Photography in the coming weeks to discuss the vision.
9.26.10: We are under construction on the new website and in meetings with our bookkeeper as we start restructuring SBD to handle more projects at a higher quality level! We also received word that the revisions for the TV sizzle are almost complete! Our deadline of October 1st should be met. We are also wrapping up storyboards and shot lists for our meeting with our potential DP for SKY IS FALLING this week!
8. 30.10: We have received the sizzle reel (for our television show idea, created by Samual DiPaola) from the editor and have begun getting feedback from Producers. We’ll begin the re-edits in a couple weeks and hope to have a final sizzle completed by October 1st!
8.23.10: Silent-But-Deadly’s Producer, Rachel Grubb, has relocated to Los Angeles. With Rachel’s move, the company will now officially be Los Angeles based.
8.10.10: SKY IS FALLING is now in the investor stage while we shop for a DP!
6.10.10: Latest version of the script, SKY IS FALLING, has been completed and the development stage has begun! We have begun breaking down the script, budgeting the film and seeking investors!
4.19.10: Silent-But-Deadly’s Producer, Brooke Lemke, has relocated to Los Angeles.
